Our Restaurant

Enjoy a pre-show meal with 2 courses for £21.95 per person, or 3 courses for £25.95 per person.

The Terrace Bistro is filled with natural light and offers the opportunity to dine al fresco on the roof terrace during warmer months.

Open before each performance in the Ashcroft Playhouse and Phoenix Concert Hall.

Typical Menu

Starters

  • Lincolnshire parsnip soup with toasted cumin seeds and parsley oil
  • Ham hock and split pea terrine, piccalilli, root vegetable slaw
  • Bermondsey Cheese tart with red onion jam, endive salad
  • Secret Smokehouse haddock fishcake with Cronx Ale rarebit

Main Courses

  • Chargrilled Hampshire chicken breast, garlic dauphinoise, steamed kale, bordelaise sauce
  • Supreme of Cornish cod, green lentils, spinach and salsa verde
  • Spinach and ricotta cannelloni, rocket and parmesan salad with balsamic tomatoes
  • Slow braised Dorset lamb shoulder in plum tomato and rosemary, herb dumpling and potato puree

Desserts

  • Plum and cinnamon oat crumble, vanilla pod custard
  • Treacle tart with raspberry ripple ice cream
  • Dark chocolate pot with orange scented shortbread
  • Artisan ice cream selection
